Welcome to Cats-n-Kits

Hello,
We are Frieda and Claudia and we live with our 16 year old daughter Sam in Berchem, close to Antwerp in Belgium. We also have a son Michael, he is 22 years old and lives on his own in Antwerp.

My close relations with animals started from childhood, I was the only child in the family and I kept different kinds of animals as my companions. I had both happy and sad memories in taking care of these little creatures.

We are a small cattery who had always had Persian and exotic cats, we think it’s important to take care of every single cat who lives here.

Our main interest is to breed Exotic-Shorthairs in different colors, but we also have solids, including blues, and will in the future also try to breed some bi-colors.

We decided to breed Exotics because of their beautiful appearance and wonderful character. We do our very best to breed healthy and happy cats who will be the delight and pride of their owners. Our kittens are well-socialized, affectionate and healthy babies.

Cats-n-Kits is a cageless cattery and we breed from PKD-DNA tested cats only, our cats live among us because we love them like we love each other. The cats are free to go wherever they want inside the house, but outside only when the weather is nice. Our small garden brings much pleasure to our cats in the summertime.

We use every opportunity to show our cats in our country and abroad.

There are so many people we would like to thank, but mentioning them all is impossible, some of them we will forever be grateful to, and they knows who they are.

Our special thanks goes to Kris Flossie from cattery Markies De Carabbas for all the answers to my 1001 questions and helping wherever she can, Kurt Verstappen who shows our cats locally and abroad and of course Regine Van Damme our veterinarian who makes sure our cats are always healthy.
